About this coloring page
Every feather in the fan is its own little pattern study. The tail spreads nearly edge to edge, each plume holding an eye at its heart with rows of fine barbs down the sides, while the bird balances on a curling branch with a scatter of leaves below. And you'll want those leaves. They're the only rest stop on the page, since the chest scales run tight.
Treat it as a slow project, something to return to across several evenings. An all-sunset fan in corals and violets would be striking. So would the expected teal and gold. Use fine tips for the feather eyes, then burnish the big plumes with pencil for a soft sheen.
