About this coloring page
Swans fly through this scene trailing strings of beads, which sets the tone nicely. The castle stands on floating islands, and waterfalls pour off their edges into open sky. Crystal spires grow straight out of the rock. A gazebo dangles jeweled pendants on the right side, and a round arch frames a swinging lantern on the left. Stone stairs wander across a crystal-latticed bridge between the islands. Two crescent moons share the sky, and the dreamers among us will accept that without question.
Pastels were made for pages like this. Lavender stone, blush roses, the faintest blue in the clouds, silver along every crystal edge. Work light and layer slowly, saving one bright gold for the lantern flames.
