About this coloring page
Cranes get the best seats in this garden. One stands on a rock beside the waterfall while the other sweeps in over the tea house roof. Below them, the scene unrolls like a scroll. Bamboo frames the upper corners. A maple canopy spreads across the top left, and an arched bridge crosses the pond at center. Beneath it drifts a school of patterned koi, every fish marked differently. Stone lanterns keep watch on both banks, with irises rising near the lotus pads in the lower corner.
For all its density, the page relaxes people. Long ripples and repeated koi shapes settle a busy head. Try red and white on the fish with classic crimson in the maple, then mist-gray rocks. Print it big and give it a slow afternoon.
