Michael stands on a rocky cloud with both wings spread almost from edge to edge. His shield carries a large cross, his sword points safely toward the ground, and a small serpent curls below. That protective pose gives the Archangel Michael coloring page plenty of movement without making the scene frightening or graphic.
Gold and warm yellow work well on the armor, halo, and rays. Give the cape one strong color, then keep the wings pale with light blue or gray near the feather edges. The shield scrollwork and rows of feathers reward a sharpened pencil, but the tunic and clouds remain broad enough for crayons.
Use the printable PDF for a lesson about courage, protection, or the angels named in Scripture. Older children can look up Revelation 12:7-9 after coloring. Younger children might simply find the cross, count the stars, and talk about brave choices that help rather than harm someone else.
