About this coloring page
Tilted at a jaunty angle, this violin comes with its bow crossing beneath it, four tuning pegs, both f-holes, and a small crowd of stars and notes drifting around the body. Wood rewards a careful hand. Layer orange over brown colored pencil and burnish until it glows like real varnish, then leave the strings white so they stand out. Metallic gold on the stars if the pencil case runs to it. Ages eight to twelve tend to do best here, since the pegs and the bow tip are small closed regions that a chunky crayon will smother. And plenty of adults sneak it into their own stack.
