About this coloring page
A row of small spikes runs from the seahorse's head all the way down its curled tail, like a crown that never stops. Ridged bands cross the belly, and every band is a slim closed region, so patient colorists can alternate two shades of gold for a striped effect. Four bubbles rise past the snout, and wavy strands of seaweed fill the right side of the frame.
Careful hands will enjoy this one most. The belly bands and back spikes reward a sharp pencil, though the head and cheeks are roomy enough for any marker. A deep blue seahorse floating in pale yellow water looks surprisingly good. So does coral pink with green seaweed, the pairing everyone expects.
