Caught in the act. This panda has both paws on a bamboo stalk and its teeth already at work on the top of it. Leafy sprigs float at the right side of the frame, and two very round feet show their oval toe pads to the viewer.
Pandas come pre-decided, black patches on white, so the real choices live in the greens. Try a deep green for the stalk and a lighter, yellower one on the leaves. Press the black areas down in heavy layers and leave the white fur as untouched paper. The shapes are big and calm, fine for most ages, though staying clean along those borders takes a bit of care. Snack break afterward feels thematically correct.
