About this coloring page
Waves curl across the bow, rain slants down on one side of the sail, and four disciples hold tight to the boat. Jesus stands steady in the middle with one hand raised toward a break in the clouds. This coloring page of Jesus calming the storm captures the change from danger to quiet in Mark 4:35-41.
Two blues can do most of the work: a dark one for the storm side and a lighter one where the water begins to settle. Give the sail a warm tan or faded red, then choose a brighter robe color for Jesus. The ropes and wave curls take a sharper pencil than the boat's wide wooden boards.
Print the PDF for a lesson about fear, trust, or the miracles of Jesus. Ask children to find which side of the picture looks calmer and what Jesus is doing while everyone else reacts. A short response about what helps them feel calm can be written on the back after coloring.
