About this coloring page
Fluffy edges give this monster away as a hugger. The whole body is drawn with a wobbly, fur-like outline, and there are two little horns, puffy cloud wings on each side, a single snaggletooth in the smile, and a few spots down low. Fur is a nice technique moment. Show kids how to make short crayon strokes that follow the fuzzy edge, and the whole creature suddenly looks soft.
A double frame surrounds the scene, which older kids can turn into a border pattern with dots or tiny hearts. Warm brown fur with pink wings reads teddy bear. Blue fur with white wings reads baby yeti. Both are correct.
