Polka-dot socks on both feet, a striped scarf, and the confidence to wear it all at once. This monster came dressed for the occasion, with a striped knit collar around its neck, fringe at the scarf's end, banded little horns, and spots scattered across its arms and belly.
All that pattern work makes it one of the fussier monsters you'll meet, and one of the most rewarding, in my opinion. Reach for a fine-tip marker on the scarf stripes and sock dots, which run narrow. A palette idea that works: keep the body one soft color, sage or peach maybe, then let the knitwear go loud with four or five brights. Suddenly the outfit is the star, which is clearly what this monster intended. Around fifteen minutes for careful colorers, give or take.
