About this coloring page
Continents are the fun part here, drawn with real coastline detail, so anyone coloring the Americas or Africa gets a small geography lesson on the way. The globe sits in its stand on a stack of three books, and the top book has a little bookmark ribbon that's easy to miss and satisfying to spot.
Difficulty splits neatly. Oceans and book covers are broad and calm, while the landmasses want a sharp pencil and some patience. Blues and greens are traditional, but an old-map palette of cream and faded brown looks surprisingly elegant taped up near a classroom map corner.
