About this coloring page
An apple and a lone sandwich on a plate sit out on the checkered blanket, and both the kitten and the puppy are eyeing the latched basket like it's holding out on them. A tall daisy grows right behind the basket handle, with two more blooms off to the sides. Clouds drift overhead.
The blanket is the main event for coloring purposes. All those checked squares take two alternating colors beautifully, picnic red and white or anything bolder, and counting squares as you go sneaks a little math into the afternoon. The sandwich layers reward a fine tip. Everything else stays large and friendly for younger hands. Print two copies and let siblings work side by side, since sharing one picnic page rarely ends in a picnic mood.
