Wings and a horn put this kitten one step past ordinary, and she knows it, standing on a bank of puffy clouds beneath a rainbow whose wide bands arc nearly edge to edge. Stars mark the corners, and two smaller clouds tuck under the rainbow's ends like bookends.
Rainbow order is right there if you want it, but kids who invent their own color sequence tend to defend the choice with surprising passion. Pale yellow on the horn and pink inside the wing feathers keep the fantasy soft. The bands are wide enough for markers to fill without streaking if you work in small circles. So let the cloud bank stay white and the whole scene floats.
