About this coloring page
Halfway up a huge old tree, someone has built the cottage of every kid's dreams, complete with a round window and its own little gabled entry. A long wooden ladder runs all the way down the trunk, and two small clouds hang in the sky.
The canopy is the big job here. All those billowing leaf clumps can be one solid green, or you can shade each clump slightly differently for a leafier look, which takes longer but pays off. Ladder rungs and window panes add fine bits for detail lovers. In the end it's a medium-difficulty page that elementary kids tend to linger over, happily deciding who lives up there and whether visitors are allowed.
