About this coloring page
Every birdbath needs a customer, and this one has a plump little bird perched on the rim, surveying the water like it owns the place. The pedestal bowl below is fluted like a seashell, and flowers press close on either side, a tall stem topping out over the bird's head and a wide-open blossom leaning in at the bottom right with big veined leaves behind it.
There's a satisfying mix of region sizes, roomy leaves for fast progress and small flower centers for careful moments, so siblings of different ages can share the work. Hand the bird the boldest color on the page, since it's the smallest shape and deserves the attention. Soft blue for the water, warm stone gray for the pedestal. Then argue over the bird's name. Ours is Gerald.
