About this coloring page
Shoulder to shoulder they stand, three sunflowers with the middle one stretching tallest while its neighbors lean in like backup singers. Layered petals ring each seed head in a double row, and generous leaves climb every stem. Up in the corner, a cloud drifts by.
Petal after petal after petal, the page builds a rhythm. School-age kids with markers can settle right into it, though those double petal rows do ask for patience. Two yellows, one light and one deep, make the flower faces pop far more than a single shade would. And late summer is its obvious season, though February colorers get the same flowers.
