Nose-first into a giant daisy goes this fluffy little foal, and honestly, same. Two butterflies hover nearby, one on each side of the sky. Tall grass brushes the foal's ankles, and smaller blooms crowd the corners. The mane and tail are drawn in thick shaggy clumps, which is where the texture fun lives.
Try layering two browns on the coat, then pulling a darker stroke through each clump of mane so it looks freshly brushed. Petal regions are wide enough for chunky crayons, so preschoolers can manage, at least most of them. And if anyone asks why the foal looks so dreamy, the answer is easy. That flower must smell amazing.
