About this coloring page
Grinning ants, three of them, march single file along a curving path, hoisting one giant veined leaf overhead like movers carrying a couch. Pebbles line the trail. Each ant has the same round head and bent legs, so the page makes a nice exercise in keeping colors consistent, or in giving every worker a different color, depending on the kid. The leaf is the largest region by far and takes green happily, though autumn shades work too. And the teamwork idea sparks chatter all by itself, ask what the ants are building and you'll have a full backstory by the second ant. The lines stay thick and friendly, so crayons are plenty here.
