About this coloring page

Real magnets do exactly what this picture shows, which is what makes it fun. A big horseshoe magnet hangs with both poles pointing up, a paperclip snapped onto each one, while two more clips drift near the curve below. So the page doubles as a physics puzzle. Ask why the clips crowd the ends and see what theory comes back.

Coloring goes quickly. The magnet's fat U-shape is one giant closed region, ideal for heavy marker fill or the chunkiest crayon in the box, and the traditional look is bright red with silver tips. Afterward, raid the junk drawer for a fridge magnet and test a few paperclips for real.
