About this coloring page
Foam erupts in a huge cauliflower cloud from the top of this tabletop volcano, and look closely, because the cloud is smiling. A bubbly stream pours down one slope and pools in the baking tray underneath, a detail any parent who has hosted the baking-soda version will appreciate. Someone thought about cleanup.
Give the mountain earthy browns, then go loud on the eruption. Orange reads as lava, though hot pink is funnier. The little bubble circles sprinkled through the foam run small, so a sharp pencil helps there, while the cone itself takes crayon happily. Printed on cardstock, the finished page makes a fine poster for a school experiment write-up.
