About this coloring page
A wavy mane and a two-tone striped tail give this little horse most of its personality, and the rest comes from that patient, gentle face. Off to one side sits a crosshatched hay bale, with a short board fence and sprouting grass on the other. Nothing crowds anything, so even shaky crayon control has a fair chance here. Chestnut with a cream mane suits him, and the hay wants a dry golden yellow. Then maybe a soft sky wash behind the lone cloud, laid down with the side of a crayon. So calm it practically colors itself.
