About this coloring page
That long two-part tail hangs well below the wooden perch, which gives the parrot a certain showbiz elegance. Scalloped feathers layer down the chest, and the wing stacks up in tidy rows. A rope wraps the perch and dangles below, ending in a spiral knot. Two clouds float behind.
And parrots are basically permission to raid the whole color box. Scarlet for the body, teal through the wing, gold on the chest, lime at the tail tip. Nobody will call it unrealistic. Before starting, have your colorist give the bird a pirate name and a catchphrase. It changes how they color the face, I swear.
