About this coloring page
Between two wooden rollers stretches a parchment map with a single squiggly island in the middle and a dotted trail curving around it. And that's everything. The emptiness is the point. All that open parchment is an invitation. Kids can draw in their own X and a shark fin or two, then color everything they invented. Tan or antique yellow makes the paper look properly old, and darker brown around the rough edges sells it even more. The rollers take a simple woodgrain. My favorite page to put in front of a kid with a big imagination.
