Grass underfoot, Saturn overhead, a young astronaut leans into the eyepiece of a big tripod telescope. The outfit is full space gear, backpack and boots included, yet the hill below sprouts honest tufts of lawn, so maybe this is a backyard stargazer dreaming in costume. Either way, the scene is a handy excuse to plan real stargazing. Saturn's rings show up in even a modest telescope, and kids rarely forget their first look.
