About this coloring page
Our pilot is waving a four-fingered hello and wearing the happiest open-mouthed grin in the galaxy. Two ball-tipped antennae poke up from a smooth oversized head, and the saucer below is all ribbed panels and rounded rim, resting on two stubby legs. A ringed planet hangs in the corner sky with three stars for company.
Green is the traditional alien color, but this face could carry lavender or teal just as easily. That big smooth head is also a prime spot to practice burnishing, layering crayon until it gleams. The saucer's panel lines create plenty of medium closed regions, good for kids who've moved past the giant-blob stage. Naming the alien before the first crayon comes out tends to improve the whole session.
