Only four bells hang from this arching stem, each drooping at its own angle with flared, pointed rims, and two broad leaves sweep up from the base to frame them. Bluebells droop like that on purpose, shielding their pollen from rain, which makes the downward angle worth keeping crisp. Violet-blue is the namesake shade, though white and pink bluebells grow in real woodlands too, in case somebody at the table refuses tradition. The regions are large and the lines thick, friendly to preschool hands, and all that empty background leaves room to draw in a visiting bee or two.
