About this coloring page
Somewhere between bud and full bloom, this branch has caught it all. Three five-petal blossoms sit wide open while a handful of buds in different stages wait their turn along the slanting stem. Real cherry branches do exactly that, opening over several days, so the drawing is quietly accurate. Pale pink petals with a deeper pink pressed in toward each center is the classic treatment, and the branch takes a warm gray-brown. Fine-tip markers help around the tiny stamens in each flower's middle. And leaving one blossom pure white makes the branch look like it still has a surprise coming.
