About this coloring page
Under a spiky cartoon sun, three sunflowers stand at three different heights, which quietly settles any argument over who colors which one. Each bloom wears a double ring of pointed petals around a big round face, and the tallest nearly bumps a cloud. Grass tufts line the bottom edge. A low hill rolls behind the stems.
Rust and deep chocolate brown belong in the faces, and the petals will come out sunflower yellow no matter who holds the crayon. Clouds look good left white against a pale blue sky. Younger kids can handle this page solo, since the petals are wide and the sky is one huge open region. But watch the sun's skinny rays, the one fiddly spot on an otherwise easy page.
