About this coloring page
Count the tulips before anyone picks a color, because there are seven by my tally, and nobody wants to run out of favorites at bloom number six. The woven basket is the real project here. All those short weave segments build a satisfying repeating pattern for older kids, and burnishing each row with heavy crayon pressure gives the straw a glossy look. Keep the tulips to two strong shades, maybe scarlet and butter yellow, so the basket texture stays the star. And the long leaves threading between stems are roomy enough for a younger sibling to claim a share of the page.
