About this coloring page
So much is packed into this meadow that the smart move is claiming one corner and working outward. Poppies sway on tall stems, daisies open mid-field, tiny buds and clover sprigs hide low, and grass blades layer up several rows deep, all of it under a spiky sun and a pair of puffy clouds.
Because the flowers run small, the page suits patient colorers, eight and up for most kids. Fine tips matter in the grass. Borrow a trick from real seed mixes, which bloom in drifts, and repeat each flower color in two or four spots so the field ties together. Leave the sky white or wash it the palest blue you own. And if the small stuff wears somebody out, the sun and clouds are friendly regions to finish on.
